Maida Mujkic

Maida started at Mellor Olsson in 2022 as a Law Clerk before being promoted to the position of Solicitor following her admission to practice. Prior to commencing her career as a Solicitor, she gained invaluable experience in the public sector both as an employee and volunteer.

She works closely with Partners and Senior Associates in our Employment & Workplace team on a variety of matters including policies and procedures, legislative standards compliance, defending unfair and unlawful dismissal applications, wage entitlements and audits, industrial instrument compliance and workers compensation matters.

Maida undertook two placements during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, assisting small businesses and individuals navigate workplace matters in an unfamiliar and challenging environment. This inspired an interest in employment law and she went on to complete further studies in the area as part of her graduate diploma.

Maida is fluent in Bosnian and Croatian.
