Joe initially joined Mellor Olsson as a partner in 2013 following the merger of Jenkins Anderson and Mellor Olsson. He was previously based in the Port Lincoln office and was responsible for managing Mellor Olsson's regional offices. After a brief period outside the firm, Joe re-joined the firm to manage the Wills & Estates team in Adelaide.
Joe was born and raised in Port Lincoln. With his regional background, he has a particular interest in inter generational farm succession planning and works closely with accountants and financial planners to ensure the best structure is in place to allow for a smooth transfer of assets between generations. Joe has a significant client base in the agricultural, fishing and aquaculture industries. He is a qualified Notary Public and can therefore witness internationally recognised documents.
Shortly after graduating from his law degree, Joe relocated to the United Kingdom, where he practised in London and Edinburgh with well-known international firms. He was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2005.
Joe has been the President of his local football club, a junior football coach and a board member on several community and not for profit boards.
