About the role
We are seeking a professional, empathetic, and motivated Family Law Solicitor to join our leading Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to further develop their family law practice within a supportive, well‑resourced environment. You will work on a diverse range of family law matters, with access to mentoring, collaboration, and meaningful client work.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Interviewing clients and taking instructions with professionalism and empathy
- Managing the day‑to‑day conduct of family law files
- Drafting correspondence, court documents, agreements, and affidavits
- Providing advice to clients
- Liaising professionally with clients, barristers, mediators, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with court appearances, mediations, and negotiations (commensurate with experience)
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for clients
About you
You are a client‑focused solicitor with a genuine interest in family law and the desire to support clients through complex and often sensitive matters.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Have a minimum of two years’ post‑admission experience practising in family law
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients
- Work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Be committed to ongoing professional development
- Be motivated to achieve high‑quality outcomes for clients
