About the role
The Mellor Olsson Property Team has been recognised in the 2025 Edition of Doyles Guide as a leading Property and Real Estate firm. We are looking for a Solicitor/Associate with 2 to 5 years PAE to join our Property Law team. Our team advises on a broad range of property matters, including:
- commercial leasing;
- property development projects;
- property finance and mortgages;
- infrastructure and renewable energy projects;
- acquisition and disposal of land across commercial, agricultural and industrial sectors.

Your responsibilities will include;
- Drafting and advising on a variety of property agreements;
- Conducting legal research and preparing advice on property law matters;
- Assisting with due diligence and managing settlement processes for property transactions;
- Attending client meetings and taking accurate notes;
- Professional liaising with internal and external clients and other stakeholders; and
- Attending internal meetings and undertaking CPD training.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will;
- Have 2 to 5 years PAE;
- Be admitted to practise in Australia;
- Be passionate about providing the best client service experience;
- Be committed to supporting and working collaboratively with team members;
- Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills; and
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
