Abbey Newsome

Abbey joined Mellor Olsson in August 2026 as a Law Clerk before transitioning to the role of Solicitor in September of that year, upon her admission to practise.

She works closely within the Wills and Estates team, assisting in a broad range of matters. Abbey enjoys helping clients with their legal matters and takes a practical approach to her work. As a Barossa local, Abbey has a strong connection to the local community and is passionate about providing clients with clear and practical legal advice.

Before joining Mellor Olsson, Abbey gained valuable legal experience through her work as a Law Clerk during her legal training. She also brings a background in the South Australian Wine Industry.
