Biography

Alexandra joined Mellor Olsson in 2026 and advises employers across a broad range of employment, workplace relations and work health and safety matters. She provides practical, commercially focused advice and represents clients in both contentious and non-contentious workplace matters.

Prior to joining Mellor Olsson, Alexandra practised employment law for more than 11 years at a national law firm. During that time, she advised clients across a broad range of industries including retail, hospitality, not-for-profit, administration, government, building and construction, and mining.

Alexandra has extensive experience advising on unfair dismissal and general protections claims, discrimination matters, wage and entitlement disputes, sham contracting, modern award compliance, employment contracts and workplace policies, redundancy and long service leave entitlements, and work health and safety matters. She regularly represents clients before the Fair Work Commission, the South Australian Employment Tribunal and Court, and the common law courts.

In recent years, Alexandra has conducted and advised on a range of workplace investigations involving allegations of bullying, harassment, sexual misconduct, inappropriate workplace behaviour and conduct reportable under legislative frameworks. She also assists clients in responding to investigation findings and implementing practical workplace solutions to manage legal and operational risk.
