Candice Wright

Candice joined Mellor Olsson in 2025 and is based in the Clare office, where her primary focus is on estate planning and administration.

Originally from the southern coast of South Australia, Candice completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Flinders University. Following her admission, she worked as a case manager handling disputed workplace injury claims before relocating to Canberra.

In Canberra, Candice worked as a family law paralegal before moving into a lawyer role within a general practice across both ACT and NSW jurisdictions. During this time, she gained broad experience in family law, estate planning and administration - areas that have a direct and lasting impact on individuals and families.

Returning to South Australia in 2025, Candice chose to continue her legal career in a rural setting, based in northern regional South Australia. At Mellor Olsson, she assists clients with all aspects of wills and estates, including estate planning, trusts, powers of attorney, advance care directives, probate, letters of administration, and inheritance matters. She also provides advice on family law issues, including parenting and property settlements.

Candice is passionate about supporting individuals and families in regional communities, making legal advice accessible and understandable. She has a talent for breaking down complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance, and is valued for her approachable nature, calm communication style, and genuine commitment to empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to navigate their legal matters.
