Peter Berekally

Peter joined Mellor Olsson’s Adelaide commercial team in 2023. He advises clients, from small to medium-sized business owners to publicly listed companies. His areas of specialisation include negotiating and drafting commercial agreements across various industries and providing comprehensive advice on all aspects of business establishment, management, and growth. Additionally, he can support clients who are navigating complex situations such as the disputes and litigation process. Peter is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia.

Before pursuing his legal career, Peter gained invaluable experience working in the health and disability not-for-profit sector. During this time, he provided support and advocacy to individuals with intellectual disabilities whilst collaborating closely with boards, CEOs, and other top-level management. Peter has also worked in Canada, where he served as a corporate responsibility adviser for two of North America's largest oil and gas companies.
