Oliver Portway

Oliver joined Mellor Olsson as a Consultant in 2023 following the merger of Heuzenroeders Lawyers and Mellor Olsson. He brings with him over 35 years’ experience as Solicitor and Barrister in South Australia.

Oliver assists clients on a broad range of areas including business and succession restructuring, general business and property transactions and conveyancing matters. He is also collaboratively trained in the area of Wills and estates and advises on important documents including Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Care Directives and general estate administration. He also provides advice with family law issues and property settlement matters. Working in the Barossa Valley region for thirty years, Oliver also has significant experience acting for people in the agricultural industry including farmers, viticulturalists and local small to medium sized business owners.

Oliver is passionate about providing quality legal services to the community of the Barossa Valley and surrounding areas. Alongside his legal work, he is a keen cyclist and home table produce producer with his wife Gerri.
