Emma George

Emma joined Mellor Olsson in 2025 and is a Senior Associate in our employment and workplace relations team. Emma enjoys providing strategic and practical advice to employers in all areas of employment law, including unfair dismissal claims, underpayment claims, discrimination claims and bullying claims.

Emma frequently represents employers in the Fair Work Commission, the South Australian Employment Tribunal, and Federal Courts. She enjoys working closely with clients to navigate the most complex of employment disputes and has a particular interest in award and enterprise agreement interpretation disputes, transfer (sale) of business employment implications, post-employment disputes and drafting employment contracts.

Prior to joining Mellor Olsson, Emma worked at a boutique South Australian employer representative firm for over eight years. She has practised exclusively in employment and industrial relations law since her admission in 2016.
